Nokia Android Qualcomm Leaks

We got quite excited about new Nokia flagship and we even dragged you with us. Two weeks ago at the Qualcomm booth there was a device that showed how good is the OIS with the new Snapdragon 835 installed. There was even comparison with its predecessor Snapdragon 821 in a YouTube video. But apparently those weren’t Nokia 8 devices.

Total Tech was the source of the leak which thoroughly investigated the camera, compared the design with previous Nokia devices and even suggested Carl-Zeiss lens.

Now however Qualcomm has stepped in and stated that while it does not disclose details of reference designs, the reports of a Nokia device are not accurate.

The message coming from Catherine Baker, Senior Manager of Public Relations at Qualcomm, said also that these handsets were their own design devices which they use to demonstrate the latest Snapdragon SoC every year.

Oh well, at least Nokia 6 is alive and well. We'll see what else the company has to offer come February 26.

Glad its not because that bezel looked too big for a flagship and the way the back of the phone looked like, felt cheapish
