The global variant of the Redmi Turbo 4 - the Poco X7 Pro - is now available across all markets and it is the most interesting half of the recently launched X7 duo. For one, it hasn't got a direct Redmi Note 14 counterpart to compete with it. And even better - its specs sheet and price are the definition of bang for the buck.
The Poco X7 Pro is a big step up from the X6 Pro, which is a rarity these days. It comes with an IP68 rating (and even IP69 in certain markets like Inida), meaning the X7 series are the first Poco phones with complete ingress protection. Then there is the new Dimensity 8400 Ultra chip with an All-Big-Core processor design and improved graphics. It also features a better cooling solution.
The X7 Pro inherits the screen from the X6 Pro - a 6.67" AMOLED with 1220pp resolution, 12-bit color depth, 120Hz refresh rate and Dolby Vision support. The only improvement here is the promised higher peak brightness and the Gorilla Glass 7i protection.
The Poco X7 Pro has a dual camera setup on the back with a 50MP OIS Sony primary and an 8MP ultrawide cameras. A 20MP selfie sits on the other side. Retired is the 2MP macro camera, which can hardly be described as a loss.
The global release of the new Poco X7 Pro, which we have for review, has a 6,000mAh Si/C battery, and it's even larger (6,550mAh) in the Indian release. Charging is rated at max 90W for both models.
All phones boot HyperOS 2 based on Android 15, the latest available version, which none of the Redmi Note 14 phone has yet.
Obviously, we have the limited Iron Man Edition, which comes with an exclusive package, design, accessories and even a red UI theme. This edition will probably not launch in all markets.
The Poco X7 Pro has no obvious omission and is shaping as an impressive mid-range offer with some cutthroat pricing.
The exclusive Iron Man edition comes in a large Avengers box, which has a cool opening mechanism. It contains the phone, a specially designed Iron Man helmet reminiscent case that does not hide the rear design, and a red USB cable.
The SIM ejection tool has been designed to look like the Arc Reactor token.
If you get the regular version of the Poco X7 Pro, you will receive a white USB cable, a black protective case and the phone.
There is no charger included in the EU retail bundles, but there is one for the Asian models.
As usual, all Poco models come with a thin protective film on top of the screen.
Is there some kind of a protective cover on display? Because it's a dust magnet. I have A55 Samsung and display of poco is covered with dust on the sides of display around. When looking closer you can see some foil on the display. It's very...
