Poco F6's chipset outed, the phone could be a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Turbo

Poco Android Rumors Xiaomi

Last year Poco launched two 'flagship killers', the F5 and F5 Pro, and the former proved to be way more popular owing to its much better price to features ratio. This year it seems like we'll get a duo as well, with the F6 Pro already starting its certifications journey.

A 'vanilla' non-Pro F6 is also coming, and it will have its work cut out since the F5 is a pretty tough act to follow. Still, it will try, apparently with the yet-unannounced Qualcomm SM8635, which could be branded Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 or 8s Gen 2 when it finally gets official on March 18.

The F6 Pro, on the other hand, will employ the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 if it's just a rebranded Redmi K70 as rumors are now saying. If all of this is accurate, it will be interesting to see what the performance delta between the two will be, since the 'vanilla' model could once again turn out to be the better buy.

The Poco F6 will have the model number 24069PC21G internationally, and 24069PC21I in India. Interestingly, the upcoming Redmi Note 13 Turbo for the Chinese market has the model number 24069RA21C, which strongly suggests that the Poco F6 will be a rebranded Redmi Note 13 Turbo.

Furthermore, the Poco F6's codename is reportedly "Peridot", which is a yellow ruby, and the codenames of Redmi Note series devices are usually using gemstone names - so this could just be one more speculative confirmation of the aforementioned rebranding.

Either way, we'll find out in a few weeks, most likely, as after Qualcomm makes the SM8635 official a bunch of Chinese smartphone makers will probably want to quickly announce new devices using it. Redmi should be among them, and then Poco could be taking its model to an international audience. Stay tuned and we'll let you know when we find out more.

I always get dumb founded by such comments. Headphone/IEM's (IEMs are in-ear headphones if you didn't know) with 3,5 jacks have consistently been proven to not only be superior in terms of sound quality but also significantly cheaper. And y...
