Xiaomi Poco Android Announcement

The Poco C55 is Poco’s new entry in the budget segment and it brings an enticing set of specs considering the base model costs just INR 9,499 ($115). You get a 6.71-inch HD+ display with Panda Glass protection and a waterdrop notch for the 5MP selfie camera. The screen refresh rate is standard 60Hz, while the touch sampling rate is 120Hz.

Poco C55 touts a faux leather back design and brings a 50MP main camera alongside a 2MP depth sensor. MediaTek’s Helio G85 sits at the helm coupled with 4/6GB RAM and 64/128GB storage which is expandable via the microSD slot. The phone boots MIUI 13 based on Android 12 and packs a 5,000 mAh battery with 10W charging over the dated microUSB connector.

Poco C55 comes in Cool Blue, Power Black and Forest Green colors. The 4/64GB variant costs INR 9,499 while the 6/128 GB model is priced at INR 10,999. Open sales in India start on February 28 via Fliplkart.

Looks average to me. And the oversized camera bump is good because it helps prevent table wobble

Samsung is stuck in the past as well, that's for sure. Even Apple is if we are talking fast charging standards.. but the thing is 27W,25W or even 20W, heck even 18W is *lightning* fast compared to 10W. But slow charging aside, this is supposed t...
