Google is pushing its latest Pixel Feature Drop for its device portfolio. The update brings a few big additions including Gemini Nano for Pixel 8 and Pixel 8a, Car Crash Detection for Pixel Watch 2 and a bevy of Google Home features for Pixel Tablet.
All three Pixel 8 series phones get added big-screen display support which allows you to plug your phone to a monitor via USB-C to enjoy your media on a larger screen. Google’s Find My Device will now help you locate your Pixel phone even if your device is out of battery. Pixel phone cameras can now automatically identify your best moment photo in HDR+ mode. Users can also quickly look up unrecognized phone numbers from the call log.
Pixel Watch 2 gets car crash detection and PayPal support for contactless payments. Google is also expanding Google Home app support with controls for smart home devices. Pixel Tablet gets richer doorbell notifications, Google Home favorites widgets, and quick access to smart home devices.
The Pixel 8a is a steal! Great camera, amazing battery life, comfortable design, and all at a super price. The only downside? Not many accessories yet. Luckily, I found awesome skins and a screen protector from Gadgetshieldz to keep my phone looking ...
What has this to do with the rest of android market? Its like asking when will Apple push "Apple intelligence" to samsung and motorola phones? Or when will BMW push and update for Fiat cars?
Had noticed that phone number lookup after updating feature drop is not working in India and have raised a request, they are looking into it
