Google isn’t great at keeping secrets, it just isn't. One of its promotional campaigns for the Pixel Superfans group mentions the Pixel 6a by name, though it’s not quite clear if it actually shows an illustration of it. You see, members of the exclusive group received some promo materials including a Nest Audio and a coloring book of Google hardware.
According to the table of contents for the book, pages 6-7 will let you color in a Nest Thermostat and a Pixel 6a. Except page 6 appears to show a Nest Hub and page 7 depicts a Nest Audio. No Pixel 6a in sight.
The coloring book's table of contents • The actual page 6 and 7
The good news is that you too can express your inner artist by coloring a virtual version of the book over at colors.withgoogle.com. There, on one of the pages you will see this – what appears to be a Pixel 6. And the page after that shows the tall silhouette of the Nest Audio.
Keep in mind that the Pixel 6 and 6a can be difficult to tell apart. Renders suggest that the 6a will look just like a smaller version of the 6. Even the dummy looks the same with the visor camera bump, two lenses on the left and an LED flash on the right.
Online version of the book: could this be the Pixel 6a? • Regular Pixel 6 (if the ToC is to be believed)
The Pixel 6a is expected to launch in May with a smaller 6.2” OLED display (vs. 6.4” on the Pixel 6), the same Tensor chipset, but an older camera setup using a pair of 12 MP sensors.
And here I am really enjoying my Pixel 6 which has be more reliable that my iPhone 12 pro which dropped calls for over 6 months and I had to fight with Apple to get a replacement even though I had apple care. I had to send the same phone out 3 times....
NO 1 PB internal storage, NO sd card slut, NO OxygenOS, NO buy for me. i will wait for iphone 18 pro enterprise max ultimate edge crisp. maybe till then they will succeed to let the users copy files from iPhone to PC using usb cable or bluetooth....
