Palm webOS Touch UI

If you are an O2 subscriber, or don't mind becoming one in order to feel some of the webOS magic, we've got some good news for you. The two latest Palm handsets will become available through the carrier's network in just over a week time.

Both the Pre Plus and the Pixi Plus will be available on 18-month contracts going from 30 to 65 pounds/month and 24-month contacts ranging from 25 to 60 pounds. The Pre Plus costs 99 pounds on the cheapest tariffs (which still include unlimited data, Wi-Fi and texts), while the Pixi goes for 49 pounds under the same contracts.

If you are willing to go for a 35 pounds/month 2-year contract or a 40 pounds/month 18-month deal you can have the Pre Plus for free. The Pixi Plus gets subsidized to zero pounds on contracts worth 5 pounds/month less.

You can find out more about those contracts on the O2 official site by following the source link below.

Why all the hatred for the Pre Plus? - it has been a swift turn around from the exhibition in Feb for go-live in the UK - lets remember what happened last time. yes they may have messed it up with O2 - but don't knock the phone for that..... ...
