Oppo introduced its new ColorOS 12 back in October and promised some phones will be able to get it before the end of the calendar year. Now that we’re in the last month, the company gave specific dates for seven smartphones from four lineups.
The date for every device mentioned is the first available when the update can be downloaded. If you want to participate you must head to the Software Update section in Settings and go through the registration process through the gear icon in the top right corner.
It is worth noting that although the Beta is for global Oppo phones, it actually won’t be available in the European Union and European Economic Area due to the GDPR.
We do believe, however, that once the stable version is ready, Oppo will have polished the software so it doesn't infringe on your privacy.
But one thing is for sure. If someone is buying OnePlus phones even now, you can blindly say they are not tech savy but just showoffs who like to flash the brand names. :D :D :D
