Sheeeshh, 18 Sep 2023After the launch of the Find x6 series and the Reno 10 series - I realized how much I just can... morecorrection: the only variant of the Reno 10 Pro+ available globally is the 12/256 not 12/512.
To be able to use Google on it, all y'hafta do is install APKPure, then search for "Google Play" and hit install, then sign into your google account and install all the google apps that y'need - they all work flawlessly, notifications work well too.

After the launch of the Find x6 series and the Reno 10 series - I realized how much I just cannot accept the big ass camera on the Find x6 series and neither can I accept a phone with a plastic frame present on the Reno 10 series for it's global price (and only option available is the 12/512) - I was very disappointed - so last month, I have finally decided to grab the Black Reno 9 Pro+ (16/512) from China instead.
After a month of usage, I am glad to say that I have made the right decision - after years of using scamsung devices, this is my first ever oppo device, and am loving it (it has so many features that OneUI doesnt have) - the device performs great and has more than enough power & juice for your daily use - played Genshin Impact on medium graphics for almost 2 hours, and I was pleased with the experience - the display is also great and colors are natural - picture taken by the camera is great too - and yes, maybe the wireless charging isn't present, but I seldom use that feature anyway, plus it charges pretty quick from the power brick it comes along with - it comes preinstalled with a Chinese rom, yes, and it supports many other languages as well - as for bloatwares, they're all easy to uninstall (just make sure you keep the essentials) - so if you one of those thinking of getting this model (the R9P+), I'd say grab it - network signals are great too, bluetooth connectivity is quick, GPS is good as well and banking apps works flawlessly - so you've got nothing to worry about (for its price, its toootally worth it).

Can someone help me how to solve problems with WhatsApp notifications that always turn to Silent? I can get a ringing tone for incoming WhatsApp calls but not incoming messages including group notifications too. Currently, I'm using China Rom. Thank you.

majo, 05 May 2023is this device has a headset plug? or same as the charging plug? thanks for the response.there is no jack on this buddy, it's either Bluetooth or the charging port for wired earphones

Just curious if anyone who had purchased this device (outside of China) got the latest 'March 2023' update OTA or not - as I have been checking on the 'Color OS rom section', only Reno 9 appears, not the Pro/Pro+ - and how is the performance/heating/throttling like on this device? Would be great if someone would be able disclose some info on this, thanks
Trying to compare this device with the 'Realme GT Neo 5' and 'Redmi K60' here.
FYI, the upcoming Reno 10 series will be coming with plastic frames.
