Oppo Android Announcement

Oppo might just be on a mission to totally confuse buyers and media alike. An Oppo Reno8 Lite 5G was recently launched in Spain. And just like the rumors foretold, it is a rebranded Oppo Reno7 Lite 5G, which in turn is identical to the Oppo F21 Pro 5G for India. None of these have much to do with the main Reno8 trio. You can check out the comparison of all three here.

An in-depth review of the Reno7 Lite 5G is also currently under way, so you can look forward to that. In the meantime, the European Reno8 Lite 5G is rocking a 6.43-inch, FullHD+, 60Hz AMOLED display with a punch hole for a 16MP selfie camera in the top left corner. Also, an under-display fingerprint reader. The rest of its cameras include a 64MP main snapper and two 2MP supplementary sensors - one for depth data and the other for macro shots.

Powering the Reno8 Lite 5G is a Snapdragon 695 chipset paired with 8GB of RAM (expandable by up to 5GB more via virtual memory) and 128GB of expandable storage. Keeping the light on is a 4,500 mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.

Some other random features include 5G SA/NSA support, a 3.5mm audio jack, NFC and a basic IPX4 ingress protection rating. We also assume that the stylish blue ring aura lights underneath the rear cameras will be present as well. The thin 159.9 x 73.2 x 7.5 mm and light (173 g) phone is offered in two color options - Cosmic Black and the much more interesting Rainbow Spectrum. The carrier price tag for the Reno8 Lite 5G in Spain is EUR 429, and it should be available for purchase later this month.

Then get an inward foldable, that's protected. Or a flip phone, protected too.

This brand should just die... and take all it's sister companies with it.
