Oppo has added a new member to its huge Reno5 lineup, dubbed Reno5 Z 5G. The Oppo Reno5 Z 5G has a Dimensity 800U SoC at the helm with 8GB RAM, 128GB storage, and Android 11-based ColorOS 11.1.
The smartphone is built around a 6.43" FullHD+ AMOLED screen with a fingerprint reader underneath and a punch hole in the upper-left corner for the 16MP selfie camera.
Around the back, we get a quad camera setup comprising a 48MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro, and 2MP monochrome units. The smartphone comes with camera features such as Ultra Night Video, HDR Video, Dual-View Video, Focus Lock, Dynamic Bokeh, and AI Scene Enhancements 2.0.
Fueling the entire package is a 4,310mAh battery that draws power through a USB-C port at up to 30W. The Reno5 Z 5G also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, NFC, and 5G support.
All this might sound familiar to you because the Reno5 Z 5G isn't an entirely new smartphone. It's a rebranded F19 Pro+ 5G with slower charging and an NFC chip onboard. Oppo is even using the same name for the black color model - Fluid Black. The other color variant is called Cosmo Blue, although the smartphone doesn't come in Space Silver like the F19 Pro+ 5G.
The Oppo Reno5 Z 5G is available for purchase in Singapore through online retailers Lazada and Shopee for SGD529 ($395/€330) and in UAE for AED1,499 ($410/€345) through major retailers and e-commerce platforms.
care to share and explain why..? I've switched to both Oppo and Realme after years of sticking with Sharp, Fujitsu and NEC and don't see any issue with either, loved the VOOC and my phones are approaching 2 years old and waiting for a ...
actually i agree with the original comment. releasing the same phone 25 times under different names is a gigantic yawn.
