Oppo Android Announcement

Oppo introduced the Find X7 Ultra with two periscope cameras, but it also introduced a more affordable Find X7. It moves to a Dimensity 9300 chipset and loses one of the telephoto cameras, but still offers plenty of interesting features.

The Find X7 shares its 6.82” LTPO OLED screen with the Ultra. It supports up to 4,500 nits brightness, but the resolution here is limited to Full HD+.

The chipset is Dimensity 9300 with a CPU That has four Cortex-X4 cores (one at 3.25 GHz, the other three at 2.85 GHz) and four Cortex-A720 units (at 2.0 GHz). We already tested the raw performance of Mediatek's best chip and found it to be impressively capable.

On the Find X7 the chipset is paired with 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage.

The Find X7's main camera features a 50 MP Sony LYT-808 sensor that is 1/1.4” big and also seen in the OnePlus 12 and Realme GT5 Pro smartphones. The ultra-wide camera has another 50 MP sensor, behind a 119-degree FoV lens. Then there's the 64 MP telephoto camera that packs an OmniVision OV64B sensor.

The selfie camera is the same 32 MP f/2.4 shooter Oppo has been using in all its flagships since the Find X3 series.

There are four color options – Ocean Blue, Sepia Brown, and Tailored Black. The fourth one is all-purple and is exclusive to this non-Ultra design.

6.82" screen? This is getting ridiculous, and I thought the 6.74" of the Find X6 was the biggest they are going to be. They ruined phones like they ruined lots of things.... I miss the 6.4"/ 6.5" / 6.6" phones, only Sam...
