For me the find X5 Lite is a fantastic smartphone. never a slowdown, the battery holds almost two days of fairly intensive use, stable videos and continuous slow motion up to 240fps and 1sec at 480 and 960 fps which I use for work with brilliant images, really TOP photographic sector. expandable RAM memory and 256GB of internal memory plus SD card, dual SIM .... very fast satellite connection .... difficult to find more at these prices. A nice surprise for me...Oppo got a lot of points in my eyes...

So it could be the pin has encrypted file data however there look to be caveats in terms of system design at developer.android.com (I don't fully understand these at this stage) .

Just bought this phone, everything about it is good including the clone software which worked surprisingly well. Overall the speed is decent and screen / speaker very good given the price. There are some random fingerprint unlocking problems when the phone hasn't realised I've picked it up but they are rare. I just lower the phone then raise it again to activate the fingerprint unlocking icon. Overall very satisfied until I discovered there is no encryption status or option to encrypt. Sure they have their own app locker, app pins and distinct encrypted file areas but these are all separate tools which do not allow a user to ensure their data is encrypted en-masse. It's so disappointing to see this I'm going to return the phone. I had thought maybe I've missed something but there's nothing mentioned about complete phone encryption on their website and nothing in the security settings.
Sorry Oppo but it's just not good enough. I hope I can stand corrected in missing this but at this stage it's going back.

I've been using it for about a month and it's super smooth, while battery lasts for 3-4 days with low-medium usage.

geko95gek-XDA, 16 May 2022Only single speaker is bad idea, they should have used dual speakers like Xiaomi!Quantity is not quality. It's better to have one good speaker than two average ones. My old iPhone 6s Plus sounds way better than many dual-speaker mid-range phones released in 2021 or 2022.
