Seriously, for 240 euro, it's a really good phone, can't complain about the lack of ultrawide.

Also the Nokia 6.2/7.2 and earlier Honor Mate devices did a much better job at bringing an attractive design and acceptable specs for their respective price points, while I'm surprised that BBK is going on a overpricing spree since the inflation, when they started from giving insanely cheap specs for their prices.

Just because something looks attractive doesn't mean it's good, it's like diamond rings, you need some knowledge to spot out what's real and what's fake so you don't get scammed by the seller.
for example, The A2 Pro and The Redmi Note 12 Pro.
The A2 Looks really cool with its Curved display and humongous camera bump.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro is boring, with the small camera bumps and unattractive screen.
Both Phones have a 12GB Options, but the A2 Pro has better 512GB Storage.
The A2 Pro has a 64MP Camera, better than the "bad and outdated" 50MP Camera the Note 12 Pro has.
don't let those colors, patinas and shapes fool you, they both pack the same SoC, the A2 Pro, despite having the "Pro" naming, lacks even a secondary Macro Sensor compared to the Note 12 Pro, opting instead for a depth sensor, the Note 12 Pro has Stereo Audio, 16MP Selfie with 60FPS Recording Capabilities, Same Charging Speed as the A2 Pro, Glass Back, Higher Brightness, the list goes on....
sure, you might miss out on IP54 protection and UFS 3.1, but the Redmi Note 12 Pro is the better deal than the Oppo A2 Pro.

both devices are offline-focused and i imagine that is where most people will be purchasing either of these. it only highlights how much better the reno 10 is with its much superior cameras, design/build and other factors for not much more in terms of pricing
LosEstupido, 16 Sep 2023and also, The Pricing in China is different than the Pricing in ROW, so this comparison makes... morebecause of SPGs, they excessively promote ram expansion on budget, yet overpriced garbage A series devices. another reason why offline retail stores are better to avoid when it comes to pushy salesperson. mostly vivo and oppo. xiaomi, realme, infinix salespersons do not have such logic to push non tech aware consumers into buying garbage devices. they usually recommend depending on type of budget. no wonder why vivo Y series and oppo A series sold very well that they produce so many next to unusable devices at horrifying price range. sorry if i write this much, but.. attractive back design is useless if the insides are just straight up garbage.

and Of course people (more specifically tech unaware people) would buy it, not because of the specs, but because it just looks cool with the 12GBs of RAM and the Curved Display.

almost every operating system is bound to have telemetry, and trusting any company with your data is always bad, my advice? install a degoogled custom ROM on it, you might lose your warranty, but you'll gain significant performance and better privacy.

I wonder how such brands can get away from overpricing their phones.
Take a look at Samsung A34, it has a better camera, same performance, but lasts longer, with the only compromise being an infinity-U display.
