I agree with the other comments here, got mine during the pandemic for online classes and it still works until today. My problem really is js the storage as I have the 32gb one but other than that its insanely durable, I cannot stress how many times I had dropped it yet it still works. I even got it wet one time, still functions. The camera is a little blurry when in the dark but works well when in good lighting/natural light especially front camera, very hd. Currently it easily overheats though, most likely because I've been using it for so long too. Other than that, its good.

insane durability , used mine everyday for 10hours for 5 years and barely got slow, dropped it like a thousand times and it barely scratched till my mom got sick of me using it so she threw it over and over so it would break. it did after like 4 throws (it still works , just the screen is completly damaged)

broke mine after 5 years of using with history of 4 repairs and not with grounded motherboard decided to let this little guy go the phone is decent lasted me a while before completely giving up although a little slow in gaming this is good for every day task for me and not really expected a much in camera and the battery last a while overall this is a 7/10 for me really tough phone when the components is still original dropped it alot but never break until one time really dropped it at a high ground still survive though just need a replacement for LCD

It never breaks after like 5 years, i drop it like once a month. Power button broke in February though, volume kinda hard to press after 5 years.

Miyabi, 20 Jan 2025this phone sucks because of the bloatware slowing the phone down. and it can barely play video... morebro you can overclock it using a special website of course im not going to tell beceuse you guys will upgrade the oppo security and i cant overclock it anymore but its a beast beceuse my new phone is oppo a18 nut i still prefer the oppo a12 beceuse when overclock its a beast at all games but only games that 4GB Ram maximume and it can record with no lag and my new cant and you cant overclock the oppo a18 now and im sad about it why oppo why cant you be like xiomi

Still Working 2025 February Bruh i bought the back casing for this and Opened the back manually without any help from experts just to fix the volume and power buttons. i was sales talked into buying this though i wanted to buy realme but it was the right choice to buy this. after 4 years now I'm planning to buy the poco x7 pro much better for gaming thank you very much oppo for being there in my highschool days.

this phone sucks because of the bloatware slowing the phone down. and it can barely play videos when im watching on chrome or other browser, and the ads on the pre installed apps are annoying like the oppo theme store sending me notifications about gambling sites and such. my huawei y7 pro 2019 gets better performance even though it has weaker hardware

OPPO could have released the A12 in 2020 as Android 11 or 12 upgradeable.
Some of its competitors like Samsung had it on their phones.
Mine was laggy and showed a static-like behavior sometimes.
I dropped it as many times as I could remember and broke a few glass protection on it and it kept working.
The only con is, that it is outdated in terms of its OS.

But this good performance still 3yrs Afters Using this for 4 years still fine and fast it's perfect for everyday usage once I got virus it started lagging but after factory reset it's super fast and good brought this for 19k still better in performance than my 44k Samsung...hats off to oppo

4yrs using this phone and it's totally fine until now. I already dropped it so many times and also sprinkler some water. My problem to this phone is my open/off button is not working anymore it happened last month.

I have had this phone for over 4 year and it is a BEAST!! I have dropped it like over 100+ times and there is barely even a scratch on it. It is even stronger then reinforced steel 💀
The only problem is gaming on a big game or game's that need more processors.. and if you do play those games, Only a few hour to maybe even half an hour latter, it will start to heat up and get extremely laggy.
But I have soo much respect for this phone, for holding up with all those years (and me trying to crash it😅).

I’ve been using this phone since 2020, though the phone may get very laggy after a few year it sure is durable. I have gotten many viruses, I have stomped over and over and thrown my phone on the ground and it still works. Not the best performance wise but VERY durable
