OnePlus Smart wearables Wear OS Rumors

A few hours ago a deep dive into the code of the latest version of the OHealth app which is used to manage OnePlus and Oppo smartwatches revealed that OnePlus is working on a OnePlus Watch 3 Pro alongside the vanilla Watch 3, and now the same source brings us more information about the new health tracking features that the duo will support. We're going to refer only to the OnePlus Watch 3 going forward, for simplicity and readability, but do keep in mind that all of this applies to the Watch 3 Pro as well.

The Watch 3 will support ECG readings, detection of atrial fibrillation, and wrist temperature tracking. For the latter, you'll first need to establish a baseline by sleeping with the watch for at least five days with at least one of the sleep sessions lasting four or more hours. Then, you'll be told when your wrist temperature goes above or below the baseline range.

The Watch 3 is also getting a "60-second Checkup" feature that quickly scans heart health, blood vessel elasticity, sleep snoring, vascular age, physical and mental status, blood oxygen, ECG, and wrist temperature. This will use a separate app called "60-second Checkup".

The OHealth app will get a new Health tab where you will find things like Health Insights and Health Journey. The former will, as the name implies, display longer-term insights, while the latter will give you "important workout and health events for the day", including sleep, steps, and workouts.

These OHealth app features should also become available on the OnePlus Watch 2 and OnePlus Watch 2R, there's no technical reason why they shouldn't, but OnePlus may choose to launch them on the Watch 3 and Watch 3 Pro first.

The OnePlus Watch 3 is rumored to sport a rotating bezel, the Snapdragon W5 chipset, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, and a bigger battery than its predecessor. It's unclear what the Pro will bring to the table. Stay tuned for more.

First thing they must fix is the size. If they want to go with 1 size for all, it must be 43mm or sth. If they want to stick with 47mm size, they must add a 41mm option. More than half of smartwatches are bought by female customers. So, 47mm is not t...
