OnePlus Android TV TV

The OnePlus TV coming later this month will flaunt a 55" 4K QLED display and get at least three years of software updates. It's rumored to have a MediaTek MT5670 SoC under the hood laced with 3GB RAM. Now thanks to a landing page on Amazon.in, we get to know more about the OnePlus TV.

The page on Amazon confirms that OnePlus TV will sport 8 speakers having a combined output of 50 watts which will offer "punchy bass to fill your living room". The TV will also come with Dolby Atmos and Dolby Vision for enhanced audio and video experience.

The OnePlus TV will run Android TV with an "improved UI" atop. It will be a premium product competing with the likes of Samsung and Sony but will cost less because of the company's strategic partnership with Amazon.

The OnePlus TV is expected to launch on September 26 at an event in India where the company will also take the wraps off the OnePlus 7T and OnePlus 7T Pro.

More details about these products should follow in the coming days.

I am sure that Xiaomi will come up with a lesser priced TV later, with more or less same features.

My TV Sony KD-55X8500F has android, I find it the experence excellent, but i also know that the CPU and Ram spec ain't flagship grade, thus, i don't side load too many apps or fill it to the max to ensure it's smooth experience
