This pad is beautiful, OnePlus are my favourite Android company at the moment. It's super fast, buttery smooth and looks and feels amazing. Android 15 has made it super snappy

can't get one as always fakechinopromise
at first it was expensive 800 (CAD) but with pretentind "offered" keyboard, then on sale but not available, then I saw it in US but for 500 USD, and all that on their official website. subscribed to their mailing list as suggested to get informed about tablet and got a voucher of $20 to order earbuds.. What's that, seriously.
i'm done with chinostuff, pretending cool stuff at good price never delivrered to mass people but their expensive shitostuff that sure they deliver.
bought a samsung S9 FE on sale instead, not great , at least it's delivered at promised price and won't fail in 2 months right after return policy.

Bought the higher 12/256 GB variant as OnePlus was selling them at INR 23K/ $270 brand new. Maybe they were offloading the stock.

Anyways I cannot find a better tablet for this price. Build quality, performance, display... you name it, it has it. From what I read, with the Android 14/ ColorOS update, OnePlus/Oppo/Realme have vastly improved and optimized the OS for tablets. I am content with the OS and its multi-tasking capabilities. And I say this after comparing it with my Apple iPad 9 and other Android tablets.

The only 2 gripes I have for the OnePlus Pad, is the omission of headphone jack and a fingerprint reader. For multimedia headphone jack is must on a tablet. However the good thing is we can buy the OnePlus passive analogue USB audio dongle (without audio chip) and use the internal audio chip in the Pad from USB port. So this means the Pad have the audio chip built inside, it just does not have the jack so we can plug in our headphones. So we need to use the dongle the get the audio from the USB port rather than a headphone jack.

Apart from multimedia I also us it for productivity purposes. And the strange display aspect ratio of this Pad makes it so easy to read, edit and use productivity apps. Very happy happy and hope we get the Android 16 in the future as promised by OnePlus.

I have this tablet for couple months and it isn't very good. You can read all about hardware in reviews, but no review online touches seriouis failure points of One software.

                    Bugged when using mutiple profiles:
Tablet is unusable with multiple profiles of single user. Support is bugged to a point of unusability. One has done something to "save as", "open file" forms of Android and they are not aware with which profile do they work. For example if you open Google Drive app under your work profile, and if you have need to do something with a document (upload, save as, etc) the OS forms are often bugged and it will try to operate under your home profile. This works decently on other android devices (MIUI and Realme phones in my houshold have not issue with this).

No proper support for mutiple users
You can create multiple accounts at device, but you cannot switch between accounts without logging in into account of last user that has used tablet. As the only way to switch user is trough settings menu. This alone makes tablet unusable in households with multiple users and this is no plain Andorid feature. This issue was raised a long ago and after two OS upgrades they didn't solve it. This is not a bug but intentional design of Oppo/One.

                    Lacking keyboard
Keyboard case makes this tablet heavy. At the same time it is not particulary usable. Android often requires touching screen and offers no way of keyboard navigation. The small and crumped design of keyboard is not particulary nice to use. Especialy given that keyboard has to be used in fixed position relative to tablet (it is not wireless), so usage on knees, in bed etc is not practial. Also touchpad on keyboard is to small. I have stopped using keyboard alltogether.

                    Stylus has no off button
OnePlus Pad will keep on charging stylus all the time no matter need. No user action can stop this behavior. You will get notification: "Stylus 99% full. Charging" all the time.

                    Windows size is small
Web browser treat this tablet as phone. I have found no way to force open web pages in "Desktop" mode first. Screen is large, but given the ratio, all browser by default open web pages in "zoomed in" view of mobile web first. Effectively, there is more information on screen of my 6.6" phone than on this 11.6" tablet.

At end of day it is not usable as work tablet as it lacks proper integration with multiple google accounts. It is not usable as consumption tablet in houshold with mutiple users. Stylus is nice to use. Screen ratio and quality do make it decent book and comic reader. My old Nokia T10 tablet is still better device due to software alone.

And the tablet keeps turing screen off after 15 seconds of non activity whenever battery saver mode is on. No matter what you configure in power manager.

                    Bad product, killed by software.....

Hardware wise this tablet is excellent. Decent screen, excelent screen ratio for reading (comics or pdfs). Great sound. Surfing is kinda bad compared to phone. Screen is not well utilized as browser treat it like phone. I would like to use it in desktop mode as default but android just won't let me.

I have both keyboard case and stylus. I don't use 'em though. Stylus is nice but keyboard support in adroid is bad. You have constantly shift between touching screen and keyboard.

However software is bad bad bad. Multiuser suport is non existing. You cannot switch users from

Tablet is great. Its quick, it feels good to handle, the screen is nice to look at, the speakers are surprisingly good, the charging is super fast, and last but not least the battery life is utterly amazing.

Anonymous, 08 May 2023The Dimensity 9000 is a tiny bit weaker than the SD8 Gen 1 but its a tiny bit more efficient. ... moreWell put. I have been a fan of Snapdragons almost exclusively, until now. This is my first device with a MediaTek chip and I am not disappointed. Honestly can't tell the difference, and I've got a Galaxy S23, and had the OnePlus 10T before that. If anyone is hesitating because of this having MediaTek instead of SD, I'd say go fo it. Although I agree as well that, if an SD card is important to you, get a different tab with support for that. Also, I heard that the newer iteration of this, the OP Pad Go, does not support the same stylus that this one is paired with, and may lack support for certain erd party ones like capacitative.
