OnePlus Android Announcement

The first OnePlus phone on sale in the US with a MediaTek chipset is now a reality with the brand-new Nord N300 5G. The latest Nord series phone comes with the Dimensity 810 SoC and it has some big shoes to fill as the Nord N200 5G was one of the more popular budget devices in the US and accounted for 60% of all OnePlus Nord series phone sales in the country.

Nord N300 5G brings a slightly larger 6.56-inch IPS LCD with an HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The punch hole cutout has been replaced by a waterdrop notch cutout housing the 8MP selfie camera. The back now brings a 48MP main camera and a 2MP depth lens while the side houses a fingerprint scanner embedded in the power button. OnePlus kept the battery capacity at 5,000 mAh battery but updated the charging speeds to 33W this time around. The software side is covered by Oxygen OS based on Android 13.
