Irtaz, 17 Jan 2023I want to buy this phone, is it good If you can get it for the right price, yes. If the Nord 2 is cheaper, go for that instead. I was very lucky and got the 256GB model £10 cheaper than the Nord 2. Also another thing to note is, this should get one more Android update than the Nord 2.

Yes, the battery and screen are better a... moreIt won't take you long to get used to buttonless, and then you'll wonder why you ever put up with the wasted space. I've got a OnePlus 6T which gives you a choice, and I struggled at first but I love it now, you just have to get a bit of muscle memory for the gestures.
My son has an 'account' on my phone, so he can play games whilst we're travelling, etc. He has the buttons but honestly, two years in, I can't abide them now, they feel alien.

I upgraded to the OnePlus Nord 2T from a OnePlus 3.
Yes, the battery and screen are better and a later Android, but overall I preferred my previous phone.
I have several gripes with the Nord 2T:
The screen covers the whole phone, so there are no buttons to easily switch apps, you have to swipe the edge to get buttons, which rarely works first time.
They have a gaming manager, which is meant to improve game display, but often cuts off the game screen, so you can't see everything, its dreadful.
The compass baring is always wrong, however often you calibrate, forums suggest this is a common issue.
There seems to be no cases available anywhere for the Nord2T.

Nord 2T UI is more fluid and consistent, photos are good too (I use gcam, but not a big difference from the stock camera), night mode is excellent. It's very fast and performant phone.
Pixel 6a has a bit limited UI, due to 60Hz feels a bit clunky. Photos are similar to Nord 2T, depends on the scene, and worse in night mode.
