If your phone turn off and you turn it on the phone then it would ask for password instead of using fingerprint / face id to prove is your phone. So my solutions is just try to go phone repair shop for bypass the password if they can.

Had my Nord since day 1 . Never caused me any problems until 1 week ago when it started asking me for a password. I used biometrics to logon so confusion as to why. Also no "forgot password" option. I have tried passwords now and the time between allowed tries has risen to 1920 seconds! I have been able to remove my SIM but want other info stored on phone. Has anyone any idea what I can do to help? Thanks.

Absolute workhorse of a phone. Camera still holds up, haven't encountered any software wise even while on Android 12. Had it for 4 years, ultimately replaced screen last year after it stopped working when it fell (it didn't even smash), have dropped it litteral hundreds of times and it shrugs them off. Unfortunately the phone is now beginning to structurally wear out and break up due to excessive use (and the repairs last year). Nonetheless still better than most modern budget phones and equivalent to even some less-quality flagship phones. Strongly recommend to people looking a cheaper phone per above despite the age of the design.

I still use it every day an... moreI've been using the same device since 2020 and after installing OOS 12, the device's performance degraded. Now I switched back to OOS 11 and it's running very smoothly. These days, I'm still getting approximately 3 and a half hours of screen-on time from a fully charged battery. The attachment I had was the sole reason I did not sell this device. The rear camera images and video quality are satisfactory, and the good news is that the front camera can record 4k video at 60 fps. I have used it in a rough and tough manner, yet its performance remains consistent with how it runs on OOS 11.

Worst phone ever. You can't use this as a normal phone. You can answer phones only after 3-5 seconds. You can accidentally dismiss call by cheeks because the display is always active on a call. Sometimes you can't even write a message from a Facebook messenger app. Don't waste your money on this brick.
Oxygen OS works like shiet on this phone.
The body is made of plastic and breaks easily.
Camera is blury and can't focus normally.

I still use it every day and it still works really well. I never had a phone that lasted as well as this one did. And my local (and very competent) phone service guy tells me that it has proven to a very good and study phone indeed. The only really drawback with this phone is, that it will not be upgraded beyond Android 12 and does not receive security updates any more.

Using this phone since sep 2020 still going fine with some minor problems. My front camera has gone worst and rear is kind of okiesh.This phone really charges very fast since beginning. I have dropped it several times but nothing broken. Still a great phone to use except camera...
