The OnePlus Ace 3V first appeared in the news cycle some months ago, but we still haven't seen anything substantial, aside from a couple of schematics and vague specs. It's speculated that the Ace 3V will be the Chinese version of the popular Nord 4 and will debut as early as this month.
Now, we have what appears to be a live image of the OnePlus Ace 3V, confirming the previously suggested design.
The Ace 3V's back design seems to be a major departure from the Ace 2V's design. It still has the vertical camera stack, but the camera rings are smaller and are slightly elevated from the main back panel.
The main and ultrawide cameras sit inside individual camera rings, and the third one is a circular LED flash, reminiscent of the Meizu 21 Pro.
Other than that, the report mentions an imminent launch in China, likely happening this month and will be the first smartphone to run on the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 platform. Shortly after, the Ace 3V is rumored to launch as the Nord 4 for markets outside of China.
They didn't mind. But when OnePlus 5 was released they explained the reasons for not calling it 4
