Had this phone for 4 years, and only now is it starting to fail (the front facing camera not rising), plus it had some screen burn from a game I play.
The phone still runs smoothly and the battery lasts all day.
I really liked how this phone had no notch or hole punch, seems like the last of it's kind.

I bought this OnePlus 7 pro 4 years ago and still working amazing. Screen has some burn in from a static game and battery will get you through half a day. Time for a OnePlus 12. But this 7 pro was a home run

The S24 Ultra is HUGE and just unreasonably heavy. The same goes for the iPhone 15 pro max, with even less interesting features like the stylus, but at least it's less than a quarter of a kilogram. Newer OnePlus phones are 100% rebranded Oppos. And, they too got too big and too heavy. I think my acceptable size and weight limit would be 6.4 up to 6.6 with a weight of 200gm or lower. I'm considering the iPhone 15 pro, but it seems a tad too small. I'll try to wait as much as I can I guess.

Toughest phone I've had. Still going. Back is cracked in a few places but other than that, awesome. Ordered a 12r yesterday.

Still has a better screen than most phones out today. No hole punch! After 3 years of use, my pop-up camera broke, and the screen has the battery % slightly burned into into it. And the battery isn't what it used to be. Time for a new phone, but hard to find one as awesome as this. I don't like the newer OnePlus phones.

my pop up stopped after android 11 update and dint started till today, otherwise phone is masterpiece. Disappointed by pop up, i think i have to go for oneplus 12 now.

Still works in 2023. Only problem is I've broke the screen so now it's cracked but still functional. Wish OP made a phone like this (no hole punch) but smaller and with sd slot and headphone jack

I feel like that battery is a fake and that's why your battery life is still terrible. I've also changed the battery in my 7 Pro and I can see a real improvement compared with the 3+ year old battery I had previously.

Still have my OP 7 pro and will likely daily it going into 2024! This phone has been fantastic. Front camera goes up and down almost as it did new, even as I face unlock 20x/day with the recent update. Battery still lasts a whole work day. Use a Spigen hard case that has saved its life on multiple occasions. Back glass cracked a few months ago. Not a fan of having to turn the phone on to end calls. But for the most part, software has gotten better, not worse (ex: YouTube picture-in-picture works great, used to be very glitchy). If OP brought the motorized camera back I would upgrade in a heartbeat. Otherwise my next phone is likely the S23 or Zenfone 10. Never Settle!

But with governments using facial recognition software the tech companies find it easier to sell users information when the front camera hole is always recording as opposed to only when the front camera pops up.
The technology for under screen front cameras is available but the governments want better clarity so the hole will be around a while.

chuck, 14 Jun 2021is anyone facing black screen after update to latest os 11 i thin and security mayYes. I started facing black screen issue after updating to 12. It works well till the screen is on. once it goes off, it becomes very hard to turn the screen on. Double tap or power button doesn't help anymore. The only option is to press the power and volume button at once. hold it till the device restart. Really a frustrating issue. Does anyone also facing the same ? Anyone aware of the solution?

After upgrade it become more tablet than phone. It is hard to answer calls. Most of the time you need to unlock phone and find that active call. Same fwith ending call, you need unlock phone then find call app and end call. Most annoying thing in world. Good hardware crapy software.
