OnePlus Oppo realme Android Rumors

According to a new rumor out of China, OnePlus, Oppo, and Realme will all fit their next flagship devices with 6,000 mAh batteries. For a very long time 5,000 mAh has been the de facto standard, but recently we've seen some models going up to 5,400 mAh or 5,500 mAh, and it seems like the trend is set to continue later this year.

That's when the OnePlus 13, the Oppo Find X8, and the Realme GT6 Pro will launch, all sporting 6,000 mAh cells, if this rumor turns out to be accurate.

This move might increase each phone's weight, so, as they say, you win some (longevity), you lose some (ease of handling). The Find X8 should become official in October, just after the Snapdragon Summit where Qualcomm is unveiling the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC.

Interestingly, some previous rumors have stated that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will require bigger batteries since it's going to be more power-hungry than its predecessor. Its CPU's performance cores are expected to reach 4.2 GHz. So perhaps you won't be gaining any longevity with these handsets after all, but merely not losing any compared to the previous generation.

How about a 10,000 mah flagship? That would be a game charger, I don't care if it's as heavy as a brick, can use it for self defense.

My bad, I misread it as find x7 ultra instead of find x7. Sorry!

I never said the 14 Ultra is as good as the FX7U, I said it "closes the gap" with it. Specs might suggest the 14U is leagues behind the Oppo but it's not THAT bad. What I said is that the 14U is close to the base FX7 (with OV64B) if no...
