ZTE nubia Android Mobile hardware

The Red Magic 8 Pro from nubia is the latest gaming phone from the brand and it’s the first device to undergo a JerryRigEverything durability test in 2023. As usual, the test kicks off with a screen scratch test which shows the Gorilla Glass 5 protected screen scratches at a level 6 on Mohs hardness scale.

The host’s metal blade confirms the phone frame and power button are made from aluminum. The capacitive shoulder triggers remain functional even after a close encounter with the blade. The back and three camera lenses are all protected by glass. Lastly, we see the bend test manages to separate the back glass but the phone remains in one piece and does not snap.

Want to know how the Red Magic 8 Pro performed in our tests? Head this this way for our Red Magic 8 Pro detailed review.
