Nothing Android Rumors

With over two weeks to go until its official debut, Nothing Phone (2a) managed to leak yet again, this time in an AnTuTu 10 listing. Benchmarking leaks like this should always be viewed with caution as we can only assume the device in question is a pre-release model and its performance will probably not be indicative of real-world performance from a commercially available unit. Still, this is our first look at what the Phone (2a) could provide in terms of raw power.

Phone (2a) (first from left to right) scored an impressive 738,164 combined AnTuTu 10 score with 236,788 points on the CPU test and 180,516 points on the GPU part. The listing also reveals a 137,288-point outing on the memory portion of the test and 183,572 points in the UX department. Based on the most recent leaks, Phone (2a) is equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset.

We can see two more devices in the shot - a Redmi Note 13 Pro+ (middle) which is also running on the same Dimensity 7200 chip as the Phone (2a) and a OnePlus Nord CE 3 (right) with both devices score lowered than Nothing’s upcoming midranger.

Based on the most up-to-date spec leak, Phone (2a) will bring a 6.7-inch AMOLED display (FHD+ 120Hz), a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 chipset, and 8/12GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. A 50MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KGN9 main shooter and a 50MP ISOCELL JN1 ultrawide lens will headline the camera department. Phone (2a) is also expected to offer 45W fast charging and boot Android 14 with Nothing OS 2.5 on top.

Pricing is rumored to start at €349 for the baseline 8/128GB trim while the 12/256GB version will allegedly come in at €399.

I don't think that's an issue, since the status bar is the one taking the bullet, so to speak.

The more rounded the corner radius, the more likely it is to clip content and affect the user experience if the software is not tailored specifically to such drastic corner radius values.

This is gonna be a nice mid ranger and good for those who want the bigger screen compared to the Nothing Phone 1. The performance improvement over 778G isn't huge though.
