Nothing Android Rumors

Nothing's upcoming midranger, the Nothing Phone (2a), has been the subject of numerous leaks for the past couple of weeks since its supposed launch time frame is set for MWC 2024. Multiple rumors point to MWC 2024 for the Phone (2a)'s debut and the current report corroborates these findings.

But in addition to the release date, today's leak from Smartprix details most of the specs and confirms some previously known ones. Starting with the display, it will likely be a 6.7-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate and 1084 x 2412px resolution, manufactured by BOE and Visionox. A Dimenisty 7200 chip will be at the heart of it all.

The camera hardware on the back consists of a 50MP Samsung S5KNG9 1/1.5" main sensor, paired with a 50MP Samsung S5KJN1 1/2.76" ultrawide camera, while the front will likely adopt Sony's 32MP IMX615 shooter.

As a bonus, the leakers published the official wallpapers coming with the Nothing Phone (2a).

When it comes to availability, the report suggests a wider reach than the Nothing Phone (2). There will be four variants in total - for India, Europe, Japan and global markets. Black and White will be the colors on the menu, but one of the paint jobs may come out at a later date.

Nothing should launch a sub 6 inch phone to rival Asus Zenfone and S23 with same internals like nothing phone 2, non LTPO,120Hz,8GB RAM, even SD 8 Gen + 1 with 4500mah battery and 2 no nonsense cameras. Under 500$ will sell good.

I'm glad something like this exists to break the monotony of bland black rectangles, but for a phone that's trying to do things differently it's still a very average iPhone lookalike. No 3.5mm jack, no removable/hotswappable memory, ...
