Nothing Android

Nothing's long-awaited first smartphone announcement is just over a month away. The tech startup revealed its phone (1) is launching on July 12 and it will hold an event in London which will be livestreamed for everyone to follow.

The keynote is set to begin at 4PM BST time (3PM UTC). Nothing has titled the big event “Return to Instinct” which implies a minimalist design for the phone and its user interface – Nothing OS.

The colorful event invite image shows what appears to be a macro shot of bird feathers (parrot perhaps) but we’re as clueless as you are as to what this means about the actual phone launch. Nothing already specified that it aims to become an ecosystem of products that work seamlessly with each other so there’s a high chance we might see some smart accessories at the event too.

Agreed. But what I was personally hoping for was a better product from them. If they need to make it cost more, that's okay. But the cuts were enough to make it a non-buy, and I think a lot of other people hold this opinion about the product and...
