We have reached Android 14 and April-May security update. For a country where HMD is hardly thriving, it is amazing that we still received updates.

The android 14 update saved this tablet, I had it stored away in a closet for over a year because the volume issues really destroyed my hopes for this tablet considering it had been months since they broke it, but if you're like me and had it laying around for a while, do update it, it's finally fixed, feels a little snappier too. Shame it took incredibly long to get fixed, but better later than never

Android 14 was available here as well in Denmark, but I didn't to update while it showed up, and now if I do a check for updates, it just says it's up to date. Did they pull the update? I'm still waiting on that volume fix, this tablet has been unusable for months because of it!

Whatever you do, do NOT update to the latest june patch, it messed up my tablet and it's now littered with glitches everywhere, the volume got completely messed up, and it's too loud even on the quietest setting along with scaling issues everywhere, my notification center tiles keep glitching up and overlapping each other. Stay on the Android 13 patch from may and do not update.

CamoGeko-XDA, 29 Aug 2023Why does this still have eMMC and not UFS??Another tiny detail the database maintainers wouldn't care to update, because it has been proven to use UFS 2.2 capped at 2.0 speeds on Android 12, and the speed cap being removed since the Android 13 update.
Even CPU-Z proves this uses UFS storage, as well as the countless YouTube reviews.
