It was very good, it can even slide up and down and it doesn't get loose. It can search for locations and very nice ringtone and it make me relaxing. But now it is broken, the screen cracked, the back cover is missing and all the parts from the inside is not functioning, besides, it is too small, I can't even hold it properly and it just kept falling many times. And I know It might be fixed again.

I recently sold my Iphone X, i switched to a Nokia N95. The one i had was pretty beat up, so i had to restore it from ground up. With NOS Third Party and some original parts. The phone is really fun to use and it was also easy to repair and restore. I'll get the 8 gig one soon probably. I'd say it still has some ground if your country has 2G, 3G and 3.5G Internet browsing is only really possible through Opera Mini. But even that doesnt give much use. U cant watch youtube, you cant use Twitter and whatnot. But, that's the purpose of using a phone like this in 2024.

Still rocking my N95, i repaired it, new carcass, new buttons, great phone after all these years. I know the battery is not the best and the screen is not that great but this phone can play some cool Symbian games really well. N95 gives you that nostalgia.

It's not first touchscreen or even first capacitve touchscreen phone
Not even first smartphone, there are lots of smartphones and touchscreen phones before it
It was missing too many features, it's camera was decent but not for flagship it couldn't even record videos many lower end devices could record videos
Nokia n95 was true iphone killer its only problem is bad battery
Nokia n95 8gb fixed this problem and even updated hardware
Nokia n95 was one of best smartphones to be released, the best of 2007
Apple fanboys who don't know researching better shut up
i like apple and original iphone was really good it was best touchscreen experience and web browsing even the web browser was missing many features it's still the best
Nokia n95 was better in web browsing features but experience was second to apple iphone
Both was one of the best in web browsing
I like apple products but hate when their dumb fans speak comparing apple devices to either cheaper device or older devices or better devices and say apple is better
I can't afford any apple devices :( except older used devices
I never used nokia n95 or iphone 2g or any old devices
I was just doing some researches that made me smarter cause i was interested

It was a great phone for it's time with excellent specs and I loved it. Great camera for its time as well. But then the iPhone landed and everything changed.🤷♂️

Tbh afaik this is the best nokia phone with dual arm CPU and 3d hardware acceleration, also its armv11 instead of armv7, if only it had touchscreen tbh...

It couldn't demolish something it didn't compete with. The 2007 iPhone was not even a smartphone and couldn't do nothing really that we'd been taking for granted back in the day like shoting videos. It looks like the sole purpose of the iPhone 2G was only to showcase that buttonless phones were the way to go for the future of the whole industry. And apart from making calls it was a pretty much useless device. It sold well in the US just because of the provider subscriptions, you could get a well built futuristically >>looking

Sure the first iphone in 2007 laid the foundation of what we would expect from smartphones but I can tell from your comment you're not looking at this from a perspective of that year. The iphone in 2007 was trash. It did not have an AppStore. It's camera was very poor, even when compared with other smartphones and it couldn't do video. It didn't have an SD card slot, you could use only very specific headphones on it due to the way it's jack was made and it couldn't even copy-paste text.
