So far, this is a very decent budget Android phone. Do know that (At least for the CC variant) There's an awful pre-installed app called "App Services" that must be disabled ASAP! It will download a bunch of random apps taking up space. I've also made a handful of tweaks and it's surprisingly zippy. It feels at times to be pretty fast at times. I'm starting to feel more recent Android versions have MUCH better optimization these days. So far, it's been quite useable in my experience.
Strengths:
* Surprisingly decent chipset.
* Display looks fantastic for an LCD.
* Comes with what I believe may be maybe vanilla Android? (Pixel-like experience)
* Fingerprint scanner!
* SDCard reader and 3.5mm jacks are great!
* Music on this thing actually sounds awesome with good earbuds!
Weaknesses:
* Mediocre at best cameras.
* Terrible defaults and bloatware which avg. joe/jane won't notice. (easily can be disabled for those who know what to do)
* USB port is only USB 2.0.
* Unlikely to get major updates, if any at all.
My main take away? Overall, Not a whole lot to complain about. This phone is Not bad at all for what it is. Not bad!

I went from an Iphone 11 on latest Ios with no issues too, I only use my phone for calls, texts, e-mail responses and listening to music or watching the occasional youtube video. I love my C300. It's called being efficient, I simply do not need a $700 phone.

I've had it for about a month now, it's what you'd expect from an entry-level phone performance wise, the display does sort of make up for it's lack-luster performance. If all you do is answer messages, e-mails, and listen to music it's fine. Watching videos whether it be how-tos or social media is fine too. You're definitely getting your money's worth for $140 U. S but there are better options in that range. As a Nokia fan though and coming from an IPhone 11 the re-adjustment to Android and the nostalgia of having a Nokia has kept me going forward. Launching the camera is where you see this is really a budget device. It really hangs whenever the camera is launched but as long as you keep the background apps at a minimum it's functional.
It's a good phone from my point of view only that the battery capacity is needed to upgrade a little.
MakeNokiaGreatAgain, 21 Jun 2023No, doesn't work like that. The predecessor of Nokia C300 is Nokia C200.I see. Thanks, Mr. Nokia Man.
Anonymous, 21 Jun 2023That would be a good move, I'd pay a bit more for that no problem. I'd pay a lot if was a semi high end device with a enjoyable android skin by Nokia. Alas Nokia doesnt do either of those. Oh and include jack input.

The days when people wanted an iPhone copy because they couldn't afford a real one are long gone, but it seems Realme is living in the past. Realme has no pride or shame or respect, to go and blatantly rip off an iPhone design like that.
Realme C53 is better, like it's not even close. Nokia is still running off brand value and fooling customers who don't know basic things, like how 3GB RAM is unusable and for the same price you can get 6 GB RAM phones.
It's amazing how much people can get fooled by a brand name has, without the Nokia name HMD would have shut down years ago.
