Nokia Android Announcement

HMD introduced its latest entry level smartphone today dubbed Nokia C2. It runs Android 9 Pie Go edition and is powered by a Unisoc chipset.

The Nokia C2 has a 1.4GHz quad-core CPU, which is a slight upgrade of Nokia C1's 1.3 GHz. It's aided by just 1GB of RAM and has 16GB of internal storage (expandable with up to 64GB microSD), but that should be enough for the limited footprint of Android Go. The IPS display stands at 5.7" featuring HD+ resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio.

On the back we have a 5MP camera with f/2.2 aperture and on the front, we have another 5MP unit. Interestingly, both have LED flash to aid in the dark.

A 2,800 mAh battery keeps the lights on and can charge at 5W via the dated microUSB port.

Seriously 5 megapixel rear camera is already outdated on a phone that is yet to be released. 8 megapixel would have made more sense, especially in today's market flooded with better option.
