Nokia Android Android Go Rumors

We knew it wouldn’t be a powerhouse and it is not – the Nokia C20 Plus results have appeared on Geekbench, showing a modest performance. Which is what you can expect from an Android 11 Go Edition phone.

The benchmark doesn’t list the exact chipset, just that it is made by Unisoc. However, the octa-core CPU with four 1.6 GHz cores and four 1.2 GHz cores and these results all suggest that this is the exact same chip as the one in the regular Nokia C20 (a Unisoc SC9863A, specifically).

Interestingly, the Plus model has 3 GB of RAM while its vanilla sibling tops out at 2 GB. This is on the higher end of what Go Edition models have (some have as little as 1 GB, a few have 4 GB), so even if the chipset is the same, the Plus model should handle multitasking better.

From a previous leak we know that the Nokia C20 Plus will have a dual camera (up from just one) and a 5,000 mAh battery (up from 3,000 mAh). There should be a C30 model too, with 6,000 mAh and a fingerprint reader. That one is yet to show up on Geekbench. There is no launch date for these new models yet, real or rumored.
