Nokia Android Announcement

Today HMD Global has announced that Nokia's lowest cost C-series line has a new member, the C1 Plus. The C1 was released last year, while the C2 got official back in March. As the name implies, the C1 Plus is a slightly improved version of the C1, as it has the same screen size as that phone at 5.45", and is thus still smaller than the C2 with its 5.7" display.

The C1 Plus runs Android 10 (Go edition) and supports 4G. It will be available before the end of the year for just €69. HMD Global says this is the cheapest 4G Nokia smartphone ever.

The screen resolution is HD+, 720x1440 to be precise. There's a 5 MP rear camera with flash, and a 5 MP selfie snapper too. The phone is powered by an unnamed 1.4 GHz quad-core processor, paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of expandable storage.

The Nokia C1 Plus has a 2,500 mAh battery (and comes with a 5W microUSB charger), a 3.5mm headphone jack, a dual-SIM version (although single-SIM will be offered in some regions), and it will be available in blue and red. Its dimensions are 149.1 x 71.2 x 8.75 mm, and it weighs 146g.
