I use it since 2021 and it´s still perfect, after a Lumia 950 XL before. The camera is amazing. I also have a Samsung A55 and this Nokia´s camera does everything better for me. Battery is also good after these years. I never miss an OLED here.

Hello, today in 2025 im using this Nokia 8.3 without any problem. it handles many open applications very fast without any delay. its camera with Zeith lense makes this phone special! captures better quality than many recent top brands.Its cinematic video is outstanding!! and its wide screen makes it a TV to watch videos.Its hardware and software was 100% till now and handled many softwares and games like cod mobile easily without lag_about durability I must say it falled from 1.8m without glass and cover to ceramic ground and nothing happened to LCD nor body.
only problem of this phone is that for this Big screen it needs at least 5500 battery because it finishes fast and not charges fast which leads to work in charge which damages battery gradually.

Hi people this week I decided to put away my Nokia 8.35G phone. I didn't really know should I still be using it in 2024 with no more security updates. I have the 8.3 and this one. Both great phones! I was looking at Honour Phones and tried the Honour 90 lite...omg the phone was slow and lagged with all the latest software. I heard rumours that HMD might bring back the Lumia 1020. I've still got mine and my N8s. I want a phone like my 8.35G any good ones coming out?

Bill, 05 Jul 2024The phone definitely is not to big. Top to bottom could be less but the width is not an issue.... more😅 yeah there you are right. I did not mean the weight of the device, but i meant the mesurements, i cary my smartphones into my pocket, i can say that even x30 is a bit to much, 8.3 is definetly too much...well for me at least, but i'm inclined to think that for a lot of people, which is sad because it is a pretty good device overall

Top to bottom could be less but the width is not an issue. I have one. I also have a Note 10+ 5G. Absolutely, positively hate the useless curved edges. The curved edges on any brand cellphone are the dumbest thing ever made. Samsung & others continued to make them despite the fact that over 70% of customers disliked the curved edges. It took them years to figure out this huge mistake and yet some still do it. You can't fix stupid.

No soldering. Just open the back cover, it's glass, be careful. You detach a few cables and replace. Watch a video or two on YouTube. Best of luck

Pretty solid machine. I have been waiting for Nokia to release same or better. Sadly they never did. Mine is now slowing down and no android 13. Nokia could have done better with support for this awesome device.

I bought Nokia 8.3 5G from Qatar last year on my way to Ethiopia. After 6 months the C type charing port stoped working. I couldn't find Nokia agent to fix it nor find wirless charger to buy. I regreated the decison i made to buy the phone. That was a mistake. I still would like to have any help to solve the phone's problem

I bought it from Qatar last year on my way to Ethiopia. I used it for 6 months and the C type charging port stoped wotking. I couldn't get any one to fix it nor find wireless charger to buy in Ethiopia. I regreated for bying the phone Nokia 8.3 5G

Fast phone big screen, decent camera, good choice for the price, Android 12 is fine don't worry about that, SD card expansion and 5g a bit of a bargain really

It is still a very good device, mine runs very well (besides a bug with audio recording) and the battery has retained capacity, but the last security update for the 8.3 will be November 2023 so I would not advise buying unless you are a collector.
