My wife is very fond of the Nokia brand and she now has a Nokia 8.3 (with a windows launcher which is great) but its way too big, she wants a Nokia with a screen this size, this phone looks perfect and can be bought used very inexpensively, I am thinking of buying her one as she only does basic tasks, is it OK to use in 2023 ? she needs NFC which this has I think ?

Instead the phone operates normally, albeit slowly on Android 10. This is expected out of Snapdragon 630 SoC with a 8 year old ARM architecture. I got this phone for $100, so cannot complain.
I rate its old school 16:9 display even better that the one found in more expensive Nokia 7 Plus. The built quality, design and aesthetics will never be surpassed in this price segment and this alone makes it a masterpiece from HMD stable. The Nokia 6.1 carried the original Nokia 6 design in a more refined manner and a more powerful hardware.

I got a refurbished one lately and finding this device a total piece of crap, it's not user friendly nor has a good video quality. It is a fake version of the original handset I believe and has been circulated as a spy device in the Indian territories by the war inflicted communist lands.

I have nokia 6.1 T1043 3/34GB i buy this phone 2018 until now i have No problem about this phone my advice about this phone don't backups your files in photo and don't use higher brightness

Prashant Kumar, 05 May 2022Your opinion nokia phone 6.1 I have nokia 7.2 is better display quality Nokia 7.2 was the successor of Nokia 6.1 and obviously had better hardware. However its plastic and glass build is nowhere near the 6.1's bulletproof all metal build. In hand 6.1 is the classier device and feels more expensive.
