Nokia Android 5G

A couple of days ago, HMD Global's Chief Product Officer Juho Sarvikas dropped a video on Twitter teasing a collaboration between Nokia and the James Bond movie franchisee.

Today, the company sent out a press release confirming the partnership, while also announcing that its first 5G smartphone will feature in the upcoming James Bond movie No Time To Die as the new 00 agent.

HMD also announced that it will release a 90-second commercial on March 8, giving us a glimpse of the upcoming Nokia smartphones. The advert will feature Lashana Lynch, who plays the role of Agent Nomi in No Time To Die. She will be shown utilizing the upcoming Nokia smartphone to complete her mission.

In addition to Nokia's first 5G smartphone, the 25th Bond movie will also feature a couple of other Nokia smartphones - Nokia 7.2 and Nokia 3310.

The release of No Time To Die has been pushed back to November 12, 2020, but the new Nokia smartphones, including the company's first 5G phone, will be unveiled on March 19 in London.

Sony always marketed their phones through James Bond movies, specially cause they are producing it. Quite strange from Sony to give up advertisement of their own devices versus competitors. What do you all think?

Who cares about James Bond??? I like Nokia, because they make quality phones at competitive prices and avoid random marketing nonsense. And now I have to have to pay for Marketing costs to have some dude hold a phone in a movie?!
