hyt00, 27 Nov 2023battery replacement easy or not No, it's a sealed phone with back glass cover, be careful.
One of the most premium budget phones ever with the glass front and back, sturdy phone, good weight and feel in it. One of the best Nokia phones HMD made.

idigar, 24 Feb 2022battery swelled and no nokia battery available. much better if nokia produce removable batteries.Try use another battery from a renowned brand ( Asus, Samsung, oppo, vivo, mi, Huawei) and if the dimensions are the same, solder the old x5 BMS on it.
I did the same thing with my old Huawei y6 ll, the battery was caput, so I went with a Samsung (a51) battery which is 4000 mAh rated and replaced the dead 3100 mAh power cell And soldered the original BMS on the new Samsung battery, et voila, instead of adding the phone to e waste, it has a second life and keep charge much longer due to the bigger Samsung battery
YC, 04 Mar 2023Does it support VoLTE anyway? If it does, what is the setting?Yes it does, settings > network and internet > mobile data > SIM 1 or 2 > enhanced LTE mode turn on
Does it support VoLTE anyway? If it does, what is the setting?
This phone is working fine for my need after 3 years. No issue so far with it. It lasts for 4-5 days for normal comm, web search, no video, no game. It takes only around 1.5hrs to fully charged from like 10% battery left in the phone, I only added 6 apps into the original OS android V10 so far.
For the price I paid for the phone years back and when I see how it still works great I can't say anything other than that this phone is a true quality product unlike quantity products from China. Compared to my XR20 this phone is tiny but still strong and also my XR20 is fenomenal and from the same quality as this phone
just go for it blindly

It doesn't get updates no more but nevertheless this phone is still performing well and it's a pure quality device rather than a quantity device like the Chinese brands are famous for. Once you use a phone for more years the quality always come to surface and shows you why, in the first place, it was a bit more expensive than the Chinese counterparts which are all crippled by the time this Nokia is still flourishing.
To add, I would like to have a slightly bigger screen next time on like 6,1 inch but this 5,86 inch on this phone still serves my needs.
It cost me 180 euro in 2018 and it still works very well, it's also still smooth. No hiccups really, got the battery accu app to manage the battery better and I still get a lot of SOT out of it. Mostly what I do miss is a notification LED but the solid build of this phone for 180 euro is unmatched. No doubt when this phone's battery is worn out I will get myself another friendly priced Nokia.
