Xiaomi launched the Redmi Turbo 5 Max earlier this year with a 9,000mAh battery and a 6.83-inch display. Now, a new rumor suggests that its successor, the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, could feature an even larger battery and display.
Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that an upcoming mid-range smartphone powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset will feature a large display (around 7-inch) and a battery with a capacity exceeding 10,000mAh.
The tipster also claims that the phone will feature a minimalist design. Notably, a leaked render from July offered a first look at the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, and the phone does indeed feature a minimalist design with a horizontal, pill-shaped rear camera bar.
The latest leak also corroborates a previous rumor from July, which claimed that the phone will feature a 7-inch display with a 2K resolution.
While today’s leak does not reveal the phone’s name, it is expected to be the Redmi Turbo 6 Max, given that the Dimensity 9500s also powers its predecessor.
If the rumor is accurate, Xiaomi could focus on upgrading the battery and display while retaining much of the hardware from the Turbo 5 Max. However, we’ll have to wait for more details to emerge.
Dimensity 9500s?? Are you serious? The last REDMI turbo 5 max already used that chip?! It's ridiculous plus if the leaks were true no matter the battery nor the screensize the performance is still the same bruh I hope they are gonna use the dime...
Okay it is fine for me just one inch less from 7. You are right I do not understand the market for this one. Just one hope from me if Xiaomi decided to make it. Just don't reduce the width of what the 7" phone had.
