Back in July, purported specs for the upcoming Google Pixel 11a leaked, and today we have some CAD-based renders of the device to look at. The source of these renders also confirms one of the key upgrades that were also mentioned in the aforementioned specs leak, namely that the Pixel 11a will be powered by the Tensor G6 chipset, just like the rest of the Pixel 11 devices.
The Pixel 11a is reportedly going to be unveiled next spring, so we're still very far from its release. Anyway, as you can see, the Pixel 11a looks eerily similar to the Pixel 10a, which itself was almost identical to the Pixel 9a. The trend here is pretty clear - Google is saving as much money as possible for its most affordable Pixel, by recycling the design as many times as it can. Those bezels - they're still chunky too.
The Pixel 11a's camera island is ever so slightly differently shaped compared to the Pixel 10a's, if you look closely enough. The Pixel 11a allegedly measures 153.46 x 72.35 x 9 mm, which means it will be very marginally less tall and less wide than its predecessor while keeping the same thickness.
The Pixel 11a will apparently be offered in black, silver, green, and purple, but Google will definitely give them some fancy names like Obsidian for black. It will still have 8GB of RAM. Its 6.3-inch screen will have 120Hz refresh rate and 3,350-nit peak brightness. The battery is rumored to be 5,000 mAh.

I think they've finally slimmed the width enough to make it worth buying again assuming it is actually 72.3cm wide.
honestly looks as if it's just been slowly widening it's "eyes" over the previous iterations
