Oppo Find X10 Ultra could be heading for a chipset switch
The Oppo Find X10 Ultra's full camera setup leaked earlier this week, but what about the chip that will be powering it? The Find X9 Ultra launched back in April with the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, so you'd expect its successor to stick with Qualcomm. That might not necessarily be the case. Today, a tipster on Weibo said that a Dimensity 9600 Pro version of the Ultra is being tested with customized imaging algorithms. This image processing customization would presumably be in service of Oppo's Lumo True Image Engine.

Before you start thinking this is a done deal, the tipster also says in the replies to his post that there's a Snapdragon version of the Ultra in testing too (presumably using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Extreme Gen 6), and that Oppo hasn't made up its mind yet. In fact, according to him, the Snapdragon option is very likely to be the one that ends up being chosen.
If Oppo does go with MediaTek, the Find X10 Ultra and Find X10 Pro Max would share the same chipset, and the cameras would be what sets the two apart. The Ultra allegedly gets a 200MP main camera with a 1/1.12-inch type sensor and LOFIC tech, a 200MP periscope telephoto, a 50MP periscope with 10x optical zoom, and a 100MP selfie camera with a square sensor. We'll let you know when we find out more about it.

Have you tried removing bloatware from it? Samsung does put a lot of it's own apps and they can slow down the system.

It was slow from the get go. It even went to service to replace the motherboard, still sucks. Luckily it's got 1 more year to go, I'll never buy a Samsung budget phone for my dad again

Did you bother to read either the first paragraph or the the second? TLDR FYI Qualcomm only top Nanoreview because Antutu and GB6 Multi are better than Apples A20. Apples A20 still leads single core outright Xiaomi Xring 03 (3nm) may not b...
