Last month, vivo launched its X500 series in China, leaving many to wonder when the series would make its way to global markets. Well, the brand did just that today with the global launch of the X500 series. It consists of all three previously launched phones with the X500, X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max all in tow. But as with past global rollouts from vivo, some regions like Europe won’t get the vanilla X500.
The X500 is available in parts of Southeast Asia like Malaysia, where it starts at MYR 4,699 ($1,149 converted) in its 12/256GB trim and goes up to MYR 5,299 ($1,296) for the 12/512GB version. It brings the exact same specs as the Chinese model with a MediaTek Dimensity 9600M chip at the helm alongside a 6.58-inch AMOLED screen, a 7,500mAh battery and a triple camera setup featuring 50MP main, 64MP telephoto and 50MP ultrawide cameras.
The X500 Pro is priced at MYR 5,699 ($1,394) for the single 12/256GB trim. European pricing kicks off at €1,299 for the 12/256GB variant and tops out at €1,449 for the 512GB storage variant.
It also retains the exact same specs as the Chinese variant with the flagship Dimensity 9600 Pro chip, a 6.39-inch LTPO AMOLED, 6,510 mAh Si-C battery and 50 (main) + 200MP (periscope) + 50MP ultrawide cameras.
The global X500 Pro Max gets a slightly smaller 7,800 mAh Si-C battery compared to the Chinese variant’s 8,000 mAh cell. But all three phones still pack 90W wired and 40W wireless charging. The X500 Pro Max starts at MYR 6,099 ($1,491) for the 12/256GB trim and maxes out at MYR 9,699 ($2,372) for the 16GB RAM and 1TB storage photography kit version.
Pricing in Europe starts at €1,499 for the 12/256GB trim and maxes out at €2,199 if you want the 1TB storage model and the photography kit.
