Samsung Android Tablets Rumors

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra (SM-X940) was spotted on Geekbench 7 by Abhishek Yadav. The benchmark score card confirms that the tablet is powered by a Dimensity 9500 chipset, which is what we expected.

This doesn’t appear to be a plus version of the chip since its Prime CPU core is clocked at 4.21GHz, which matches the frequency of the original 9500 chip. The Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra used the Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which boosted its prime CPU from 3.62GHz to 3.73GHz.

The tablet was equipped with 12GB of RAM, again, as expected. Samsung really only offers 16GB on rare models with 1TB storage – this applies to Galaxy S and Z models as well as the Tab S models.

Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Tab S12 Ultra and Tab S12+ in September. There will be several models - the SM-X940 in particular is a Wi-Fi only Ultra.

Below are the expected prices for the two slates – note that 5G connectivity should be a $150 upgrade. As usual, the Ultra will have a 14.6” display, while the Plus model will have a 12.4” display.

Try to do some video export with beloved Snapdragon compared to a Dimensity and you will change your mind !

Dimensity 9500 is still a flagship chipset. It ain't slowing down no matter what you throw at it, even after 5 years of usage. Good Luck with that handicapped iPad and it's limited multitasking capabilities

Pricing is good for a tablet of this size. Would have preferred the Snapdragon processor though
