HMD Android Announcement

HMD has quietly announced a successor to its HMD Arc, but while boasting a new name and paint job, it does not bring many noticeable upgrades. Arc 2 still boots Android 14 Go and is built around a 6.52-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate.

It is equipped with the Unisoc T603 chip, which is a more capable revision of Unisoc SC9863A from the first-generation HMD Arc. The T603 is built on a more efficient 12nm process and features a max clock speed of 1.8 GHz. The chip is paired with 4GB RAM and 64/128GB storage while also boasting an SD card slot.

Around the back, we have the same single 13MP camera, while the front boasts a 5MP selfie shooter housed inside a waterdrop notch. Arc 2 brings a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging and also features a USB-C port and 3.5mm headphone jack.

They do what ? Skyline 2 be like 7s gen 4 that is middle of the middle class chip. While they ask a flagship price for the phones when the Skyline 1 is still like 570 euro that is more then Samsung S24 or even S25

Even worse, they could've avoided launching low-end lineups entirely to focus on devices with higher specifications with one notable compromise: Stock Android.
