Motorola has officially brought the Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power to India. The phones launched in the country are largely similar to the global models, which were announced last month.
The Moto G37 and Moto G37 Power are equipped with the Dimensity 6400 chipset in India, whereas the global variants get a less powerful Dimensity 6300 SoC.
Other than the difference in the chipset used, the global and Indian models of the handsets share the exact specifications.
Both phones sport a 6.7-inch LCD display that offers a refresh rate of 120Hz and an HD+ resolution. The display is protected by Gorilla Glass 7i and you also get an IP64 rating on both devices.
The camera setup also remains the same across the G37 and the Power variant. You get a 50MP main rear camera paired with a 2-in-1 light sensor. For selfies, the phones feature an 8MP camera.
The Moto G37 comes with a 5,200mAh battery with 20W wired charging support, whereas the G37 Power houses a larger 7,000mAh cell with support for 30W fast charging.
Both phones also offer a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 3.5mm headphone jack, stereo speakers, and run Android 16 out-of-the-box. The devices will receive an upgrade to Android 17 and 3 years of security patches.
In terms of connectivity, the handsets offer 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.4, GPS, and USB Type-C.
The Moto G37 and G37 Power will be sold in Pantone Nautical Blue, Pantone Impenetrable and Pantone Capri color options.
Pricing starts at INR 13,999 ($145) for the 4GB/64GB variant of the Moto G37, with the Moto G37 Power priced at INR 15,999 ($165) for the 4GB/128GB option and INR 18,999 ($195) for the 8GB/128GB model.
Moto's update policy is a joke. 1 OS update for the G37 series? Poco M8 is 180 Euro with 8/256GB and support until 2031 (Android 19). Moto is smoking something heavy across all price segments right now if they think people won't notice the ...
And this generic e-waste gained a substantial 32g increase from its predecessor for a negligible increase of 2000mAh, a grainier display as well as a far worse chipset that barely matches its overall functionality.
