I had the X1 and it was pure junk from every aspect, slow, crashed, hated WinMo, and best of all cracked in every corner easier than a cracker. The X2 doesn't only appear to be just as bad, but now they made it ugly. That keyboard reminds of a commodore keyboard, yuk!
I'm not an iPhone fan, but you have to admit Apple set a new standard for smartphones in terms of web-enabled features and aesthetics, and it seems every company is on board with this except Sony Ericsson.
Seriously SE, you need to move away from resistive screens and WinMo to capacitive and Andriod to stand a chance. If not, your measly 7% market share will soon be a memory.

Windows mobile 6.5 is rubbish its not worth waiting for the new phones just for that.

looks like this phone is on the top of my not to get list. looks like i'll havta downgrade to x1 which is a million times better looking than this ugly crap that obviously has come from a 5 year old designer in SE's attempt to cut expenses

Behold the Xperia x2, a touch of new xperience from the 80s. The keyboard aside this is probably the best what WinMo will be able to offer any time soon. Just put a xenon please.

X2 Looks very disappointing. I was waiting for the X2 to come out to buy it, but wow I guess the X1 will be my choice. Yikes SE not good

If you have seen the previous picture of the X2 shown by GSM Arena, you can see the back of the X2 and it shows the Sony Ericsson Logo. Because the logo is the trademark of Sony Ericsson, nobody should have copied it and put on a (so-called fake China phone). So I think this X2 should apprear and be announced.

As you know the previous X1 was made by HTC for Sony Ericsson. And for the X2, it might be the same as well. Look carefully, doesn't it look like one of those HTC phones like the Touch Diamond? It does have quite some resemblance to me, you know.(I know some of you guys might think this is another fake China phone, but what do YOU prefer?Having the X2 to be announced or the X2 never to appear in real life. If you want the X2 to be launched, believe it!)

It just shows how Apple and Palm are more concerned about giving value to the consumer than Sony or even HTC.

Well winmob 6.5 is already out on the X1 get it from www.xda-developers.com
But the cool thing about X2 that it will be upgradable to winmob7.
hoping for 3.5 oled with accelerometer and this phone would be the daddy for some time. :D
