8K is in-fact the future, it has also been the standard-format for cinema's for MANY years now ;-)
But really the future is not limited to that, there is going to be 16K in the future 32K and so on...

da Boss!, 25 Jul 2014QHD and UHD are the same thing. both are the sameLol no wrong. UHD = 4K = almost 2160 horizontal pixels. QHD = quad HD = 4*HD = 4*720p = 1440 Horizontal pixels. Since 2160 =/= 1440 it's fairly obvious they're completely different.

The score they talk about bring better than the Qualcomm 805 is the 2.0ghz/1.6ghz variant. Likely primed for the Ascend D3. The chip in the Mulan is the weaker 1.7ghz/1.3ghz variant as the Mulan is more of a budget device.
Still the score posted is outstanding for what is considered a mid-range device. I don't think anyone can argue that.

Even LG G3's 5.5 inch QHD does not show any significant difference, as per all the reviews. So its just a battery draining gimmick, and huawei is better off providing some real world features, rather than finger print scanner and heart sensors and other useless stuff. If the Ascend D3 turns out to be a 6 inch device, they might provide a QHD with ability to switch to FHD. They did the same on P7, by providing option to switch between FHD & HD.

Hope it comes out true . ... moreMaybe they should also make it a QHD screen since Huawei should future proof their phones just like what LG did. The next big thing is the QHD screen and Huawei should step it up as one of the first few to make it to the arena with a more advanced panel.

I just hope though that the Mulan flagship from Huawei will bring a QHD display since it is the next big thing that everyone will be waiting for, no matter what some people will say just like how it was with switching from 720p to 1080p screens. Huawei should maximize the CPUs clockspeed to take advantage of their home made chipset's full potential coz Qualcomm partnering with bigger OEMs like Samsung, Sony, HTC, Nokia and LG plus other companies should really make Huawei do its best not to be left behind the game.

Ashkan, 06 Jun 2014Antutu 4 is cheatable!The main way to cheat in these test is to use active cooling as the chips have to scale back when warm. Do benchmark test of a water proof phone, run it out of the water then run it submerged, the difference is huge because of the cooling.
