I read comments from upset Chinese users that the software for the ZTE V5 "Red Bull" doesn't support it yet.

ZTE is behind Huawei, Lenovo and Xiaomi in the software development, so it doesn't matter if the specs are great until they address this issue.

The supported FD-LTE bands are very limited, they won't be supported at all in Europe and probably not USA either.

The TD-LTE support is the standard 38,39,40 for China Mobile, not even China Unicom TD-LTE on band 41 is supported!

This phone is sick; just an absolute beast of a phone for all you spec lovers. GSMArena in their typical fashion missed some of the real distinguishing features of this phone. That being it supports almost every 2G, 3G, 4G network in the world (GSM, CDMA, WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, FD and TD LTE) , sports a whooping 4250mAh battery and is also dual sim to boot! Oh it also has a dedicated camera button. The only thing missing is QHD and SD slot. Dimensions-wise it almost matches a Xperia Ultra Z, albeit a couple mm thicker.

The sucks-to-be-all-you part is it'll probably never see an official release outside of China, of course that won't stop opportunists from reselling online at a hefty mark-up of course.
