Tried it, 24 Feb 2014Will ZTE bring decent updates to these phones, I bought an Open to see what all the fuss with ... moreUnless you live somewhere that ZTE sold this phone at retail I wouldn't expect an official update. ZTE sold this phone unofficially as a developer preview (through ebay) to most regions. They are doing the same with the Open C. That being said you can build/compile Boot 2 Gecko (generic non-branded firefox os) for the Open yourself, the Open runs up to version 1.3 pretty well. Check the internet, the info's all there.

Will ZTE bring decent updates to these phones, I bought an Open to see what all the fuss with Firefox OS is and found that they are still running old versions of the OS and are very slow to update.
