UMMM NO...Why would you invest your hard earned $$$$ to buy a phone from a company that has proven it rarely releases updates. At least the bigger companies like Samsung realize this and update their products. They get the fact if you look after you customers they'll come back and will remain loyal. Clearly some companies underrate the word of mouth especially when the internet helps consumers to vent their frustrations. I often ponder over how such a group of individuals in a company can make such "Out of Touch" decisions...Seriously. They make such hard work of it, all they have to do is look through readers comments on sites like this to see what the people want and integrate it with the rest of their market research. Going off on a tangent slighty. I start a new job soon and they give you a new Iphone. I may seem ungrateful but these devices have become so inferior and outdated. I'd take an Android device(not an Huawei) any time over an Iphone. With all the apps on the market and you can't even add an SD card :-o , Can't swap out the batteries, can't play divx/xvid videos, NFC? 4 Inch screen. The Iphone died when Steve Jobs died. Apple seem ridiculously complacent and perhaps arrogant just like Windows Mobile were before Mr Jobs released the Iphone. Android is free and people like freedom. Give them what they want not what you think they want. I mean...How complicated do they have to make it? Now I'm going to have to carry two phones around with me, The inferior Iphone and a randomly resetting, freezing, lagging, losing contacts, no update Huawei G600 Android phone. Within 2 months I'll be able to ditch the Huawei for a new Android device...I'm thinking Sony or Samsung.

The battery in ma huawei ascend p2 is very poor,can't even get me thru one full day of average use plus no KitKat,stupid company

to be honest Huawei, will be going from strength to strength, and a force to reckoned with. they will become a big sales. There handsets are very good. shame they dont use snapdragon chipsets, Mediatek are ok.

This design is not 100% correct ,I think . Because I saw the leaked picture of Ascend P7's back panel in 'huaweinews.com' . They don't look the same .

I am currently using the Ascend P6 Mobile phone and its a beautiful piece to technology, the reported GPS connectivity problems are not true. The GPS in the P6 connects under 30 seconds and everything else is also great. With 2gb Ram speed is great, cameras are awesome. only the battery life could be better but still it manages one day with average use.

I dont like Huawei ... they are the biggest Liar ... last Oct / Nov they promised to have an update for P6 with Android Kitkat 4.4 ..but still No news ! better to go with SAMSUNG or any other Android phones. No use of wasting money on Huawei.

Emotion UI is now in the first versions, you can install Custom rom to give better performance

I will never buy an Huawei phone or product again. I have an Huawei Ascend g600. Within one year I have had countless resets, 2 or 3 a day. Huawei won't release a fix or rom/software update. It crashes mainly during google maps or viewing webpages. Oh and the speakers have blown now sounding awful. It regulary loses my contacts and requires manually resetting to get them back. Also corrupts my sd card which needs to be chkdsk once a week. My wife and kids have Huawei phones and as expected are utter rubbish. They also reset themselves and the lagging is unbelievable. I read the P6 overheats, not surprised to hear. So in a nutshell I strongly advise against buying an Huawei, you just have to look at their support and software updates...Non existent. Think I will go for a Sony Xperia Z1 Compact next or the next Samsung S...

It doesn't looks like P7 . Because a few days back I saw a leak image of P7 's back panel in an article in 'huaweinews.com' . They don't look the same .

There's a Chinese phone with huge battery 5000mAh that still maintains respectable 8.9mm thickness (Changhong Z9/Z9s). Why can't Huawei (which is obviously the bigger Chinese boy here) do the same? Why couldn't they care more about battery?
